Purpose-Built Systems as a Service

Purpose-built systems are customer-designed to perform a specific function and are provided for a fixed monthly fee to use the entire system. In some cases, purpose-built systems are provided based on the specific work they perform, resulting in a fixed price per transaction processed or customer served or similar.

Each platform constitutes a private-cloud – for the exclusive use of a single customer and provides access to the ESCgov-owned equipment and software that constitutes the purpose-built system.

Each purpose-built system includes a choice of 4 deployment options (On-prem, Edge, Hosted, or Hybrid) and 3 managed service levels (Customer-managed, ESCgov Managed, or Hybrid). Customer-managed systems may include third-party contractors (or Prime Contractors) who manage the system under contract with the customer. Each system includes a menu of fixed-price monthly fees based on the equipment provided by ESCgov and provisioned by the customer.

Private Cloud Deployment Options

On-prem systems are provided on-site at a customer-designated location. This option is ideal for customer-managed environments, providing proximity to the customer and designated contractors.

As the majority of processing migrates outside of the enterprise, the requirements for private-edge of the cloud systems is growing exponentially. ESCgov offers purpose-built solutions to ingest data at the edge, store it in place, and analyze across distributed devices without moving the data.

ESCgov will also build Customer-designed edge solutions for deployment as-a-service, and deployable in space, in the air, on land, at sea, or under the sea.

ESCgov offers hosted and colocation solutions through partner facilities with fed-ramp Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and FedRAMP compliance certifications. Hosted systems include security, power and connectivity, and may be managed by the customer or its contractors, or by ESCgov. In some cases, ESCgov offers dedicated fiber options for additional security and performance.

Hybrid deployments include more than one of the above deployment options. In some cases, customers may require On-Prem plus Edge to effectively deploy a global, purpose-built system. Or perhaps you are migrating to a private cloud model and require contractor-owned equipment and software to be provided as a service both on-site and remotely. Whatever your need, we offer a wide range of flexibility to access ESCgov-owned equipment and software, wherever you need it, on an operational, as-provisioned basis.
